Build a simple indoor cat play routine
Cats need opportunities to move, explore and practice species-typical behaviors. A short, repeatable routine can be more manageable than buying new toys all the time.
Choose a favorite play style
Try an age-appropriate wand-style chase game or a rolling toy. Let your cat decide whether to watch, stalk or join in.
Offer discovery and choice
Rotate safe toys and offer a cardboard hide or approved food puzzle. Keep small ingestible pieces and loose strings out of reach.
Finish calmly
End when your cat disengages and store interactive string or wand toys after supervised play. Let your cat access a quiet rest place.
